Saxophonist – Brian Kane
Brian Kane is the author of nine books in the music education field and a multi-instrumentalist who has performed in over 3,000 live shows with dozens of local, national, and international acts. He has been a staff musician at both the Walt Disney World Company and the Busch Gardens Corporation. Brian has also been a music educator for twenty years. He’s been a featured speaker at state and regional conferences and has presented clinics and programs throughout the US. His playing and teaching skills have been featured in numerous magazines including Saxophone Journal, Music Teachers International, Jazz Ed Magazine, and Choral Director Magazine.
Come and enjoy the music of the Great American Songbook. Selections will include featured songs from Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Harold Arlen, Duke Ellington and Jerome Kern. Hear some of the stories behind the songs and learn more about this amazing period in American music. Brian will be performing on different saxophones and vocals with pre-recorded accompaniment.
